Toxic Happiness

Toxic addictions & bad habits in both cases we know aren’t good for us but we still choose to stay with them. It’s like we think if we detach them from us, we will be nothing or we will be what we were before we will be what we never wanted to be but in the middle of letting ourselves play with the addiction that makes us be in our worse condition, we choose to ignore it and let it get deep inside us. Inside to the point that when afterwards even if we drop that addiction in the middle of the road, it comes back to us running. We give those things that power, the strength, for them to walk and come back into our lives. It’s like we nourish it, water it daily and then we get hurt by its thorns, we realize that beneath the beautiful flowers are cactuses. The journey of seeing them with you happy, making you happy is nice but it’s for a small while because afterwards the flowers start to wither and you realize that all the happiness was faux. Too late, Too hurtful but removing toxic addictions, or habits aren't only associated with things but it can be humans. Anything that you know that is bad for you but you still get inside the disruptive cycle of heartbreak because we humans are intended to find peace in disease. The small piece of happiness is more important than the baggage of hurt it’s going to bring afterwards.
