Mine and mine always
So you see each other fall, then get back up again and then fall again and then get back up again. But even in this process of falling and getting back up again and again you find solace because at least you’re not alone, at least there’s someone else with you falling and getting back up together with you?”
“Must be great to have something like that but do you have a first love that even if you think about them it gives you happiness and butterflies that never seem to die in your stomach. Even while knowing you can’t have them or you can never make them yours, you still love passionately, so passionately that you would help them be with someone they love just because you want to see them smile, and you would hate someone who hurt them even if they themselves forgave them?”
“All of them must be great, finding solace and warmth from being with someone or thinking about them but have you felt loved, peace, or the feeling of coming home from a very tiring day from a passion? From a hobby? From an activity? For a painter its painting, for a florist its flowers, for a gardener its garden, and for a writer its writing. No matter how much you neglect those paints, flowers, your unwatched garden, or that pen roaming around your room waiting for its ink to hit the paper to flood the page with beautiful words. Its’ like these wonders which we call our passion and hobbies are like those loved ones whom no matter how much you hurt or ignore, when you go back to them they hug you with floating arms. A first love whom no matter after how long you see them, when you see them the heart flutters, the eyes shudder and the cheeks get red. A partner that waits for you at the edge of the window and welcomes you after a long tiring day at work. It indeed is great because unlike humans a passion may die but its remembrance, touch, and feeling never does. For me it's writing, something I know I will never lose, something no one can steal from me or take away. It’s mine and for mine always.”
